Norwegian musician set to perform in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

You might have heard of Erlend Øye. A King Of Convenience, the Whitest Boy Alive, and Röyksopp livewire, Øye is a man of many bands indeed.

Well, get ready to see yet another side of this multi-talented Norwegian musician on March 23 when he comes back to Malaysia to perform as … himself.

Yes, “The Bespectacled One” will be performing at The Bee in Publika, Kuala Lumpur, with his backing band The Rainbows on March 23 at 8pm.

Øye recently released his second solo album, Legao, more than a decade after his previous solo album, Unrest, in 2003. He recorded the album with Icelandic reggae band Hjálmar.

The show is part of The Bee’s Upfront series, which previously featured eclectic independent artistes such as Wild Beasts, and Bastille.

Tickets are RM98 (pre-sale) and RM128 (at the door). For more information, go to the restaurant's website
