DID you know that 988’s Morning Up (weekdays, 6am to 10am) reaches a total of 837,000 listeners weekly?
“I am thankful for the support that we have received from our listeners,” says deejay Chan Fong, who hosts the show along with Sam and Anson.
According to the 2014 radio survey conducted by international market research firm GfK on the leading breakfast show, close to 50% of its listeners range from 20 to 39 years old; 40% of its listeners are white-collar professionals; and close to 50% of its listeners command a household income of RM4,000 and above.
“We spend a lot of time researching different topics to share with our listeners. Preparation is necessary as we need to make sure the topics are interesting enough to keep them tuned in,” says Sam.
Anson adds: “I am glad to be given the chance to co-host Morning Up with two of the most experienced announcers in the industry.”
