The group will perform in Kuala Lumpur in an Urbanscapes Satellite show.

Urbanscapes is giving music fans a real treat this year by lining up several interesting Satellite shows as a pre-cursor to the main event on Dec 6.

A few weeks ago, we learned that Tenacious D will be playing a live show on Dec 1 in Kuala Lumpur. Today, it announced that Scottish post-rock band Mogwai will also be making its way to KL for a Satellite show on Nov 30.

The band, which comprises Stuart Braithwaite, John Cummings, Barry Burns, Dominic Aitchison and Martin Bulloch, released its eighth album Rave Tapes earlier this year. Mogwai is currently touring Europe to promote the album, and has included two Asian dates on its schedule – KL and Hong Kong on Nov 28.

Early bird tickets to the Urbanscapes 2014 Satellite Show Featuring Mogwai (KL Live, 7pm) is at RM137 and you can get them starting today. Pre-sale tickets are at RM157, while regular tickets go for RM177. As usual, pre-sale tickets will be sold once all the early bird tickets have been snapped up.
