Join Strepsils' nationwide singing contest to win exciting prizes.
Strepsils has just launched a nationwide singing contest called The Right Note in conjunction with World Voice Day (April 16). The launch was attended by the general manager of Reckitt Benckiser Malaysia and Singapore Hina Nagarajan and singer extraordinaire Datuk Sheila Majid.
The competition is Strepsils’ recognition of the importance of a healthy voice while allowing local musicians to achieve their dreams by sharing their talent on stage.
“A healthy voice helps people express themselves, so they can keep making the difference in moments that matter,” says Hina.
“We are confident that through this campaign, we will discover several hidden vocal talents.”
Sheila also expressed her concern of having a healthy voice. The singer says that her greatest nightmare is to lose her voice, especially prior to a performance.
To join the competition, participants have to upload a video of them singing a song on YouTube and submit the link on Strepsils Malaysia’s official website.
Sheila and the members of the public will be judging the contestants of The Right Note to determine the five who will compete for the top spot at the finals which will be announced at a later date. The winner wins the grand prize of RM10,000.
“In my opinion, the most important criteria for a singer is the voice. That’s number one; the rest are frills,” says Sheila. “That’s what I’m looking for – the voice.”
