Tourists planning to take a road trip in peninsula Malaysia can turn to the Jom Singgah! guidebook for reference. An English edition of the title was recently published by Tourism Malaysia and PLUS Malaysia Berhad.

With the publication of the guidebook, tourists can learn more about the tourist destinations that are accessible all along PLUS-operated highways in the country.

Tourism & Culture deputy minister Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said the guidebook will be an excellent instrument in helping tourists plan their self-drive holiday in the country.

“I believe that the publication of the Jom Singgah English Edition guidebook will contribute towards our efforts of revitalising domestic tourism as well as attract foreign tourists to our country,” she said.

PLUS managing director Datuk Noorizah Abd Hamid added that several R&R facilities have been upgraded as part of their strategy to make highway travel safer, smoother, and comfortable for users.

“The publication of the Jom Singgah! guidebook will also allow PLUS to highlight special dishes and cuisines available at selected R&R facilities on all PLUS Highways,” she added.

This guidebook can be obtained for free at all Tourist Information Centres (TIC), Tourism Malaysia state offices, as well as tourism exhibitions participated by Tourism Malaysia.

Users may also download the guidebook via the PLUS Mobile Apps application through Google Play or App Store, and also selected PLUS R&R facilities.
