AIR France will hold its first ever Instant Takeoff event to Paris in Kuala Lumpur on May 1 where five pairs of winners will be instantly whisked to the airport for a 3days/2nights trip. The event is part of the airline’s second anniversary celebrations in Malaysia, and is aimed at bringing a taste of France, and French hospitality to Malaysians.
Participants will need to pre-register online, with a travel companion, at airfrance.my before the actual event, which closes on April 30. Air France is inviting the registered participants to join the live draw on May 1 at 5pm on the Rooftop of Avenue K.
They will be required to pack their bags and bring along their passports to the event for an instant take-off. The winners will fly to Paris instantly and enjoy two nights of hotel accommodation sponsored by Accor.
“Air France’s second anniversary in Malaysia is the perfect opportunity for us to continue to surprise our consumers in Malaysia with a taste of France – from the moment they get whisked away to the airport, check in at the airport, and experience first-hand our in-flight services; it will be quality service all the way,” said Air France KLM country manager (Malaysia and Brunei) Aude-Lise Combier.
Travellers on board Air France will get to experience the French dining experience where meals start with either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage offer. Champagne and wines selected by Paolo Basso, voted world’s best sommelier in 2013, are also served. There is a choice of two hot meals, followed by cheese and bread, dessert and digestif.
Previous Air France Instant Takeoff events have been held in Toronto and New York in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
