After scouting mountain-top location across the Alps, production designers for Spectre deemed the sleepy ski resort town of Soelden worthy of a James Bond action scene.
Located in South Tyrol, Austria, Soelden boasts a trio of mountains that stand taller than 3,000m.
But above its jagged snow-capped peaks, the resort also boasts a dramatic glass-cube restaurant that caught the imagination of producers to become the setting for the lair of Bond’s villainous foe.
