If you are a business or start-up owner, this might be good news for you.

The 2016 Asia Super Team Competition is back once again, and this time, you can go on a team-building adventure, plus stand a chance to win great prizes.

The top prize is US$50,000 (RM200,000) worth of meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions (Mice) tourism packages in Taiwan for your company.

But, if you’re not a business or start-up owner, you might still be one of the lucky ones to win round-trip tickets to Taiwan, sponsored by China Airlines, as social media supporters for the participating companies.

This international business competition was first launched by Meet Taiwan (sponsored by Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council) in 2014 when businesses were invited to take part in a series of online and offline competitions giving participants the chance to experience Taiwan’s Mice facilities. The purpose was to promote Taiwan as a Mice destination in Asia.

This year, themed Asia Super Team: The Almighty Players, the competition returns with new rules and a new gamification system, and it is now extended to Malaysian entrants. Besides Malaysia, other participants include businesses in Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

The competition will open for the first time in Hong Kong/Macau, and comprises two phases.

The first sector is an interactive Monopoly-style online quiz game that transforms Taiwan’s Mice information into questions, props and scenarios, and participating companies need to use their general knowledge to score. A real-time leaderboard will display the latest rankings online. Teams can share their achievements on social media to boost their performance. The top teams from each country or region will be invited for the second leg.

This second leg takes place around Taiwan as participants embark on a five-day four-night tour to experience Taiwan’s Mice facilities and major events. Participants will be part of a reality show as they follow the contest itinerary throughout Taiwan, with their mobile phones in hand, ready to upload their competition status and results onto the official competition website and invite family and friends to vote for them.

Registration is now open and will close on Aug 28. Visit here more information.
