Everything is about to get even more awesome at Legoland Malaysia this year with various enhancements and the arrival of a brand new aquarium. The resort in Johor Baru is launching Sea Life Malaysia in April, an upgraded Legoland Hotel as well as new attractions and facilities within resort grounds.
At a media briefing recently, Legoland Malaysia Resort general manager Kurt Stocks said Sea Life Malaysia will combine the interactive aquarium concept with beloved Lego elements.
“This is not your typical aquarium. We have injected the Lego DNA to Sea Life Malaysia and guests can look forward to localised themes and exhibits,” he said.
Sea Life Malaysia will be a first in the region featuring 13,000 marine life from 120 species. The aquarium focuses on breed, rescue and protect initiatives.
Its programmes and exhibits are designed to offer families a place to learn and care for the ocean.
“We will continue to build on our Lego DNA and weave in key creative play elements that will keep the whole family engaged and learning during their visit,” Stocks said.
Over at the Legoland Hotel, guests will get to experience the new Ninjago rooms and a brand new Lego-themed pool bar.
For fans of the theme park, Legoland Malaysia recently launched a new 4D movie and special events where guests would be able to interact with their favourite characters from the Lego Movie franchise.
At the media briefing, Stocks also announced an all-new annual pass that is available for a limited time. Pass holders will have unlimited access all year round to the parks.
