Victoria Secret model Lily Aldridge will be featured in photographer Marino Testino’s first global advertising campaign for designer Carolina Herrera, set to be published in September magazines, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Part of the campaign puts a focus on family, including an intimate portrait featuring two young couples smiling at a baby as it reaches for a CH Carolina Herrera purse. Peruvian-born Testino said he related to the aims of the campaign.
“It’s a South American world coming to America bringing its culture, tradition, values and sense of family and chic. It’s how South Americans like to be dressed and present themselves, but the ethos really belongs to Carolina Herrera herself,” Testino told WWD.
In a campaign first, the ads will showcase not only apparel and accessories but also eyewear and fragrances for men and women with both the Caroline Herrera New York and CH Carolina Herrera labels.
Meanwhile, Mulberry has announced on Twitter that Georgia May Jagger is the face of its Autumn/Winter campaign.
Jagger, who replaced Cara Delevingne last season, will feature in the 1970s-inspired collection, filled with more edge and sophistication than previous seasons.
The campaign images were shot in London’s Chelsea neighbourhood, where Jagger embodies 1960s actress Julie Christie in tweed, check-lined wool coats and printed jumpsuits.
In the campaign Mulberry also shows off its new arrival bag, the Roxette – a lightweight version of the brand’s existing Roxanne bag.
The campaign signals a new start for the brand, which has just welcomed Johnny Coca as its creative director. – AFP Relaxnews
