Actress Zosia Mamet and the designer work on retro-glam shades in new collection.

Designer Cynthia Rowley has unveiled her latest collaboration, a capsule collection from her Rowley Eyewear label with Girls actress Zosia Mamet. Titled “Miss Z, Zosia Mamet for Rowley Eyewear”, the collection is focused on a bold, oversized cat-eye shape named the Miss Z.

The actress “wanted shades that had the feel of an old movie star”, and worked with the designer on three different colorways classic black, pink, and a two-tone oxblood tortoiseshell.

The shades are available now online and at Cynthia Rowley stores, and come presented in a neoprene case with a personalised note from Zosia. The daughter of playwright David Mamet, the 26-year-old actress first rose to fame as one of the stars of HBO's Girls back in 2012. — AFP Relaxnews
