Fashion and music are never far apart from the spate of collaborations, endorsements and stars having their own fashion brands.
Korean stars, specifically K-pop, however, take it to another level. Their music videos can boast a series of different outfits, the more the better and as much colour as possible.

It’s not just fans waiting to catch a glimpse of their ultimate bias (that what you call your favourite singer), the media are also there.
You can then dissect, discuss and appreciate the variety of stylish outfits worn specifically for the airport. Brands get in on the action too, and it’s big business to dress these stars, even to catch a flight.
Then there are the fashion collaborations, the endorsements, the front row appearances at fashion weeks and some of them even have their own fashion brands. Here’s a look at five of the most stylish K-pop stars.

He might be in the military at the moment, but the title for the ultimate fashion icon in K-pop will always belong to G Dragon. The leader of one of the most well-known K-pop groups, Big Bang, and a successful solo artist, he’s not afraid to push the boundaries in fashion. He was announced as Chanel’s brand ambassador in 2017 and his style ranges from streetwear with clashing colours, androgynous looks, and some days, he goes the classic route, which he does to perfect dapper gentleman effect. He’s collaborated and worked with several brands and well-known names in fashion like Karl Lagerfeld and Giuseppe Zanotti He came out with a Raf Simons/Vetements inspired collaboration with Samsung’s fast fashion label, 8 Seconds and to top it off, he’s even got his own label, PeaceMinusOne.

BTS, at present the most popular K-pop group, are known for its stylish outfits. While they all have their own distinct look, one of them stands out a little more and that’s Taehyung, better known as V. Currently sporting mint green hair, his style is more towards the preppy look with a dose of street. He wears prints, florals and plaids with ease, bold colours, baggy looks and there’s also a lot of Gucci going on. And a leopard print coat with a red beret? What’s not to love?
Kai’s look is more classic, though he’s not afraid to experiment. At the Gucci Resort 2019 show last year, he paired his checked suit with a crystal fringed headpiece. More often found in T-shirts and sneakers, he also loves suits and his outerwear is always on point. But really, being this handsome, he can pretty much carry off anything.
