It is said that joy comes in all shapes and sizes. Well, a new lifestyle subscription service in Malaysia aims to deliver to you that feeling encased in a box.
Named Happy Hopscotch, it comes in a dusky pink package filled with goodies from independent local brands: personal care items, handcrafted accessories, tasty snacks, home embellishments, whimsical stationery and more.
The thrill of a surprise and the beauty of a variety package is what the curators of Happy Hopscotch surely had in mind when creating this homey and cheerful subscription box.
If previously you thought it impossible to surprise yourself, then with this sublime box of delights – available for delivery within and outside of Malaysia through a quarterly subscription plan – you finally can.
The debut box, launched in April and carrying the theme “Joy Love Club”, featured 10 items that were selected to convey the spirit and values of the brand.
It includes a Mini Button Pouch by botanical-dyed fabric brand Muni; an iron-on hopscotch patch by Salang Design; a whimsical Unicorn Mist that blends three essential oils; illustrated pet portrait postcards by artist Gladys Simpson; and Earth Care’s Lavender Calendula body powder.
As it is, the joy of receiving the box can be very well equated to finding money in your pocket that you forgot you had – a gift from your old self, if you will.
Each Happy Hopscotch package comes in a petite or normal size, and subscribers may opt for a single-box purchase to try the box before making a commitment to the subscription.
If you have an upcoming celebration or perhaps fancy someone and want to convey your sentiments, then Happy Hopscotch’s “Celebrate That Special Someone” plan will do the trick for you.
The plan includes two boxes that are to be received three months apart with an inclusion of a fresh flowers delivery, as well as a personalised card that is customisable and will without question, leave a lasting impression.
Full-Sized boxes are valued at over RM200 but subscribers pay only RM145 (per box, on a four-box plan).
