South Korean cosmetics brand Laneige has announced actor Park Seo-joon as their new face. The 29-year-old is known for his roles in the TV dramas Dream High 2, A Word From Warm Heart, A Witch’s Romance, Kill Me, Heal Me and She Was Pretty. 

Park starred in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth and Fight My Way in 2017, and he also hosted the popular variety show  Music Bank 2013 to 2015. Recently, he gained more attention for his role as a waiter on TVN’s hit show Yoon’s Kitchen 2.

“Park Seo-joon’s bright and healthy image is consistent with the brand image,” said Laneige VP Claire Jin in a statement. “Laneige is happy to work with Park Seo-joon and we hope to bring customers more products towards achieving clean and healthy skin.”

“I am very excited to be the new face of Laneige, a brand that is globally representing South Korea,” Park said. “I will make every effort to fully endorse Laneige in many diverse ways.”

His first appearance for the brand is for Laneige Homme Blue Energy Essence in Lotion. In the advertisement, Park wears a dark blue shirt reflecting the corporate colour of the Homme range as fans are asked to appreciate his luminous skin (which literally sparkles).

So, Malaysian fans can start to hope that the tall (185cm) hunk will soon grace us with his presence to give us an closeup of his beautiful face.
