Looking for a halal skincare product to brighten skin? Indonesian beauty brand Wardah has launched White Secret skincare range to help brighten and slow down skin pigmentation process.
It is the latest addition to Wardah’s skincare product range which includes its acne series, essential daily series and anti-ageing series.
Wardah, which is available at Watsons, is manufactured by Paragon Technology and Innovation. Its public relations manager Wilda Arginisa says that the skincare range was introduced to cater to women wanting brighter looking skin. Crystal White Active, Advanced White Specific System and Dual Action Hydration make up its formula for skin brightening.
“White Secret range serves as a brightening range, not whitening. It helps to regenerate skin cells for a youthful and healthier complexion,” Wilda says at the launch in KL.
“It is gentle enough for those with sensitive skin as well as women with acne concerns. Test studies conducted among women of different age groups over a fortnight yielded positive results. 96% of respondents felt their skin brighter and more elastic. 88% of women found their skin smoother, righter and softer,” says Wilda, adding it took seven years to research and formulate the product.
White Secret series is formulated with resveratrol, Co-enzyme Q10 and vitamin E to prevent free radical reactions that fasten the ageing and pigmentation process. Silver vine extract helps to lighten skin tone for a radiant glow. Natural AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) serves as an exfoliating agent to remove dead skin cells and fasten skin regeneration.
Through research, Wardah discovered it is important to keep skin hydrated during the brightening process. Active ingredients work better in hydrated conditions compared to dry and flaky skin.
The star products include the day cream SPF 35, night cream and intense brightening essence.
