British clothing label Superdry is releasing fun and flirty wear for both men and women. The Autumn/Winter 2015 collections speak of versatility, with a highlight of intricate design details and premium fabrics.
For men, the inspiration ranges from gentlemen explorer and classic military to gym-class hero. Outerwear for example, is observed to be stylishly masculine. Take your pick of down-filled jackets, quilted windhikers or tailored peacoats.
New hand-drawn graphics, colours and styles from Superdry help give the pieces a vintage feel. Even the T-shirts showcase a wider selection of prints and patterns for the season.
Also look for the latest chinos, which are either preppy and classic, or contemporary slim-cut with bold details. Enamel buttons and monogrammed denim pops help give shirts a little extra appeal too.
Superdry ladies on the other hand, can expect an exciting play on texture and detail. Knitwear is enhanced with Nordic motifs, lurex twisted yarns and Breton stripes. Sequins and lace provide a soft, luxe feel.
Effortless luxury teamed with fluffy layers makes for a flirty, party-ready look. Fabrics in either dusky florals or colour-pop prints influence casual tops, shirts, dresses and leggings.
This boho undertone is further strengthened with lace detail, textured knits and an inky palette. Acid brights, dip dyes and wash effects inject wild energy for an urban chic aesthetic.
Also new is Superdry’s Rugby collection. Inspired by the sport, it showcases three shirts. Each comes with an authentic rugby fit: the Herc ulean, Valiant and Training Ground.
The flag undercollars, leather labels and appliqué numbers of the Herculean is a nod towards the British and Irish Rugby strips. Valiant and Training Ground channel the 1960s and 70s styles of England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Italy kits.
Superdry is launching a women’s sports collection as well. It includes Capri leggings, double zip hoodies, padded sports bras and running shorts – all designed for maximum comfort.
