American comedian Kevin Hart, 39, will be in Kuala Lumpur for The Kevin Hart Irresponsible Tour, a one-night-only performance, on Dec 15 at 8.30pm in Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. This show is produced by Live Nation and presented by LOL Events.
Besides a well-known stand-up comedian, Hart is also an actor and producer, known for Central Intelligence (2016), Ride Along (2014), and Grudge Match 6 (2013).
Earlier this year, Hart voiced the title character in Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, and a maniacal bunny in 2016’s The Secret Life Of Pets.
Last year, he starred with Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Bobby Cannavale in the American adventure comedy, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, which was a massive box-office success. The film grossed US$961mil (RM3.88bil) worldwide, becoming the fifth-highest-grossing film of 2017, and the 40th-highest-grossing film of all time.
Hart’s next feature film Night School, which he co-wrote and produced, will open on Sept 28. The comedy follows a group of misfits forced to attend adult classes in the long-shot chance they would pass the General Equivalency Development or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) exams.
Hart’s last multi-city domestic and international What Now comedy tour sold out large venues all over the world. He has a massively packed tour schedule of over 100 tour dates from cities like New York, Atlanta and Chicago, to Paris, London, Sydney and others, before he lands in Kuala Lumpur.
He is the first comedian to sell out an entire NFL stadium with over 50,000 tickets in one show at Lincoln Financial Field, a stadium in Philadelphia, Pennysylvania, in the United States.
Internationally, he sold out over a dozen arenas in the European market, selling over 150,000 tickets, and sold out arenas across Australia, selling 100,000 tickets. Hart’s hit comedy tour grossed over US$100mil (RM404mil) worldwide.
Tickets for his Irresponsible Tour range from RM200 to RM450, and sales will begin from July 21 at 10am. Ticketing details will be announced later today.
