Did you know TV personality Chee was once a competitive swimmer? The former Blast Off and 8TV Quickie host started swimming since she was eight and even represented her state Sarawak in the Sukma 1996 and 1998 games.

The actor always had a passion for golf since he was a teen. But Hans had to put that aside when his acting career began to take off after his lead role in the drama, Mat Pizza. Today, although Hans has made a name for himself as an actor, director and producer, he is still very much active in golf. In 2014, Hans represented Malaysia in the Turkish Airlines World Amateur Gold Open.

Actor, TV host and entrepreneur Fizo was once a professional football player, representing states Kelantan and Perlis before entering into showbiz through male modelling competition Hero Remaja.

Actor Farid told Sinar Harian he had an interest in playing polo since he was 10. Only in recent years did the Evolusi KL Drift and Lagenda Budak Setan star decided to pursue the sport. “I finally got my license from the Royal Malaysian Polo Association in 2013,” he says, adding he has competed in a tournament once since then.

Not only was Wan Zaleha known as a popular TV3 newscaster back in the 1980s, she’s an accomplished equestrian, earning a bronze medal at the South-East Asian Games in 1995 and a silver medal in the Asian Games in 1998. Wan Zaleha and her husband started Asiapromote Ventures Sdn Bhd, a company which organises equestrian events.

After making a name for himself as the country’s top comedian and actor, Zizan is set to conquer the race track.

The 32-year-old, who is currently taking lessons from race driver Keifli Othman, is preparing for his first competition next month. “This isn’t just a hobby, but I see this as a new profession for me,” he tells Utusan Malaysia.
