The ex-wrestler was said to have taken his own life earlier this week.

Sean O’Haire, a former pro-wrestler, has died from an apparent suicide in South Carolina, the United States, on Tuesday. He was 43.

O’Haire was part of the World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation (World Wrestling Entertainment/WWE) and New Japan Pro Wrestling organisations in the 2000s. He was a three-time WCW world tag team champion, and was part of the group Natural Born Thrillers. He also sometimes performed as a “protege” of top wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper.

TMZ earlier reported that O’Haire (real name Sean Christopher Haire) was found hanging in his bedroom on Tuesday. Other reports stated that after giving up wrestling, O’Haire went on to become a mixed martial arts fighter, a fitness trainer and then later, a hairstylist.
