To help usher the season of Spring in, Senada Residences hosted a two-day Chinese New Year Celebration with the theme “In the mood for spring” on Mar 3 and 4 at The International Gallery @ Alya Kuala Lumpur.

Guests were treated to an intimate weekend of harmony, wellness and festivity as they mingled among themselves.

On the first day, the venue also played host to a group of special guests, invited by Life Inspired, The Star. This was in collaboration with Senada Residences.

Guests were greeted by a vibrant Lion Dance performance by multiple World Champion Lion Dance Troupe winners Kun Seng Keng, who are known for their dramatic performances.

Everyone mingled and nibbled on delicious assorted canapes while they were shown around the spacious showroom and display area of The International Gallery @ Alya Kuala Lumpur.

During the event, which was in collaboration with Purely B, the One Stop Health and Wellness online portal, Health & Wellness Director Amanda Teh (Naturopath) introduced some interesting and sustainable “Healthy Home Remedies” that can be made with items from our own kitchens.

Guests were thrilled to learn some health tips and the next talk was an another insightful one.

Professor Master Joe Choo, President of the Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences (MINGS) since 2008, presented “Capturing 2018 with Prosperity”.

Choo shared on the global and country’s outlook for 2018, the auspicious dates, “Gua” number and colour for the year. Some early bird guests were also treated to a complimentary yearly luck reading.

Three lucky guests of Life Inspired won a complimentary reading with the master herself, worth RM500 each and lasting 15 minutes.

Readers also had the chance to participate in a mini-contest sponsored by cosmetics brand Sisley Paris, where each guest was asked to guess the value of the Sisley hamper at the registration counter.

The event continued on Sunday, when guests were enchanted by a vocal ensemble performance by Colour of Voices, a Malaysian contemporary a cappella group. This wunderkind multiracial band entertained the crowd with pitch perfect harmonies and beautiful melodies. Their renditions of Chinese New Year and multi-language songs certainly set the celebrative mood for the event while spreading the message of harmonious living.

Datuk Seri Matthew Yeoh who is the Chairperson of International Real Estate Committee, Asean Legal Alliance and is also a Barrister and maven with extensive diplomatic and business networks in Asean and China shared his knowledge on “How Can Malaysian Real Estate Development Benefit from the One Belt One Road & High Speed Rail from Singapore to China”.

There was also a workshop by PurelyB on making healthy snack options and body scrubs.

All in all, it was a wonderful way to spend a weekend and learn how to make wise property investments.
