This handy kitchen machine is all you need to make prep a breeze, and expand your cooking horizons.
Want to cut down on your time spent being a kitchen slave, while still being able to turn out home-cooked meals to nourish your family and impress guests? This may sound like a pipe dream, but Panasonic’s MK-F800SSL Smart Food Processor makes it a Kitchen Mission Possible.
What you’re looking for in a kitchen appliance is not only versatility and effectiveness of function, but one created via intuitive design – so that you really have all you need in one machine, at the press of a button.
The pre-programmed Glass Touch Auto Menu will allow you to do everything from mince to shred to spin vegetables of excess water, with just one touch.
The sleek, gorgeous black and silver machine comes with a lucky 13 accessories, which include a host of ultra-sharp blades for slicing, chopping, whipping, grinding, grating and mixing, as well as a citrus press for juice, a kneading blade for dough and a blender and dry mill. They’ll allow you to perform up to 33 functions with the machine.
And the accompanying Tritan jug – durable, BPA-free and dishwasher-safe, too – has a capacity of 2.5 litres.
Here’s what the Smart Food Processor can do in your kitchen:
Mince meat, not words
Large blocks of meat have met their match in the slice-and-dice power of the high-speed blades. The ease with which you can mince your own meat gives you more power over what goes into your food – now you can make wholesome hamburgers for the kids, with no additives!
Those onion-cutting ninjas will now only apply to heart-tugging social media posts – reduce onions to itty-bitty flavour blocks with the Chop Mode in a jiffy. No tears necessary, and the machine works so fast that you won’t be left with a watery onion slurry either – just crunchy diced onions or veggies.
Frozen Mode allows you to quickly and easily process semi-frozen fruits and vegetables. This means you can have green smoothies and creamy shakes any time you feel like it – not to mention making your own smooth, fluffy gelato.
Those sharp blades and a high-speed continuous operation can conspire to churn out the smoothest, silkiest pastes. Now within your reach: home-made nut butters, fragrant tahini, gorgeous pesto and dips – and so much more.
Set salads on spin
If you love salads and want a speedy, convenient way to spin your vegetables, that’s just one more thing this food processor can do for you.
The salad spinner attachment will spin off any excess moisture, leaving you with crisp, fresh deliciousness, in no time at all.
You can also do things manually, rather than selecting from the preset menus.
Shred, grate and slice by selecting from the special, ultra-sharp blades that come with the machine – select Continuous Mode for a fine texture, or adjust the varying speeds on Intermittent Mode for greater control over the final texture of your food item.

Add butter, eggs, milk and vanilla essence, then press start to process again till well-mixed.
Pour the mixture into cupcake cases till about 80% filled, then bake in an oven preheated to 170ºC, for about 35 minutes.
