A dog trainer and her pooch beat out a dancing troupe, a magic act and Welsh choir to win Britain’s Got Talent 2015.
Over the weekend, 13.4 million viewers tuned into the finale to watch Jules O’Dwyer and her dog Matisse win the talent competition, making it the highest-rated TV programme in Britain so far this year, reports the BBC.
Interestingly, Matisse is the second dog to steal the show, after Ashleigh Butler and Pudsey won in 2012.
Matisse won over spectators and judges alike for her “uncanine” ability to walk a tightrope among other feats.
The pair will perform in this year’s Royal Variety Performance, and O’Dwyer walked home with a jackpot prize of £250,000 (RM1.36mil). – AFP Relaxnews
