THE Multimedia Development Corporation or MDeC is collaborating with Red FM and Capital FM to help entrepreneurs initiate and accelerate their business digitally.

MDeC directs and oversees Malaysia’s National ICT (Information & Communication Technology) and is committed to drive MSC Malaysia by empowering businesses and connecting communities through ICT.

MDec also aims to facilitate Malaysia’s goal of becoming the preferred location for ICT and multimedia innovations, operations and services.

Janice Tan, who co-founded AlphaPod, will join Janice Yap and Pamela Chong tomorrow to share her experience and tips as a technopreneur. Tan has also worked with Joann Soon in developing Owe$ome, a bill separator that scans and stores bills.

Soon and her team came in tops in the Malaysian edition of AngelHack. Soon will speak to the Capital Breakfast duo on March 5.

“We are glad to have the opportunity to share our experience with Capital FM listeners. We hope our stories would be an inspiration to listeners who are keen to venture in entrepreneurship.” say Tan.

On Feb 26, the co-director and mentor of Founder Institute Kuala Lumpur Chu Tzu Ming will be on Red FM’s Red Rave. Chu, who also heads the web analytics software and solutions firm Persuasion Technologies, will be discussing on how listeners can leverage on the vibrant start up ecosystem in Malaysia to venture into business. Meanwhile, on March 12, the founder of Wavelet Solutions Vincent Lee Hong Fay will talk on the common traits possessed by entrepreneurs on Red Rave.

Joining Lee is Khailee Ng from 500 Durians.
