(UPDATE, Aug 7: Due to unforeseen health reasons, Louis Koo will not be attending the event. However, Nick Cheung, fellow star Joe Ma and director Jazz Boon will be present.)
Don’t miss out on a chance to catch a glimpse of Hong Kong actors Louis Koo and Nick Cheung who will be in town on Aug 7 in conjunction with the release of action movie Line Walker 2 Invisible Spy.
The two stars will be meeting the fans at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (main entrance) at 7.30pm on Wednesday, before making their way to the gala premiere of the film at GSC Pavilion (Level 6) at 8.45pm.
Invisible Spy is a reboot sequel of the 2016 flick Line Walker that starred Koo, Cheung and Francis Ng. All three return for this latest film, which carries over similar themes revolving around undercover cops and brotherhood, with digital theft as its core.
The film kicks off with a car crash that takes place in downtown Hong Kong involving a hacker. The HK’s Criminal Intelligence Bureau is called in to look into the accident, with Superintendent Yip (Ng) and Inspector Ching (Cheung) leading the case.
During the investigation, the officers get into some trouble from Security Division’s Superintendent Cheng (Koo), who is suspicious of Yip and Ching’s loyalty.
While the first film boasts of action sequence filmed in Brazil, this time around, the production team went to Myanmar and Spain to shoot its massive action sequences, besides Hong Kong.
Line Walker 2 Invisible Spy opens at cinemas nationwide on Aug 8.
