The inaugural KL Jamm, a three-day music festival, kicks off tomorrow (April 26) at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.
Two venues at MITEC will be occupied by this festival organised by Music Unlimited International featuring a line-up of local and international artistes.
Tomorrow, Datuk Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin and Datuk Afdlin Shauki will take Stage 1 at MITEC at 9pm. Meanwhile on Stage 2, at 8pm, fans can see performances from Malaysia Passange comprising Rabbit Mac, Santesh, Sheezay and Lock Up to name a few.
On April 27, at 5pm, Stage 1 will feature the Hallyu-Jamm section showcasing talents from South Korea such as Kueendom, Mad G, Virus Ladies, DJ Blink, Lunadira and NCT Dream. It will be followed by performances from Indonesian groups Nidji and Geisha at 9pm.
On Stage 2, Zamani will start things off at 3pm, continued by OAG at 5.30pm and concludes at 9pm with Datuk Ramli Sarip.
On the third day, fans can watch artistes like Ruffedge, Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, Alif and Bunkface at certain times of the day on the two stages.
KL Jamm will also incorporate a forum called ForUMuzik where topics such as Music IR 4.0 Rocks!, Brand Me, Brand My Music, Indie Way and Power Music will be discussed by key music personalities such as Kenny Ong (Chairman of RIM/President of Universal Music Malaysia/Singapore), Ang Kwee Tiang (VP Public Policy Asia, Universal Music), Gumilang Ramadhan (Chairman of ASIRI), Fred Chong (Group CEO of Prodigee Media) and Darren Choy (Managing Director of Warner Music).
