Show your support for our very own Joe Flizzow, who is nominated for Best South-East Asia Act at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).

The 38-year-old Malaysian rapper is up against Afgan (Indonesia), IV of Spades (Philippines), Minh Hang (Vietnam), Slot Machine (Thailand), The Sam Willows (Singapore) and Twopee Southside (Thailand) in the category.

Flizzow is best known for hits like Havoc and Apa Khabar. The latter made history as the first hip hop song to win Best Song at the prestigious annual song competition, Anugerah Juara Lagu.

The winner will be determined by votes. Voting is now open at mtvema.com until Nov 3. Other Malaysians nominated for the award in previous years include Faizal Tahir, Bunkface and Yuna.

Camila Cabello scored the most MTV EMA nominations this year with six nods including Best Song and Best Video for Havana. Ariana Grande and Post Malone trail behind with five nominations each.

There’s a lot of love for Drake and Dua Lipa too, landing four nominations each.

The 2018 MTV EMAs will air live at 4am and 8pm on Nov 5 on MTV Asia (Astro Ch 713).
