Actress Fazura has revealed that she will be starring in an Indonesian horror movie, with principal photography beginning next month.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I can’t really share too much details at the moment. All I can say is it is quite an epic movie. One of my co-stars will be Abimana Aryasatya, whom I’ve acted with in Warkop DKI Reborn Part 2 (2017),” Fazura, 34, said during an interview in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The newly-married actress is off to a busy start in 2018. After doing the promotional round for her latest Indonesian movie Ayat Ayat Cinta 2, Fazura is scheduled to start shooting a new movie in Perak.
A check on her Instagram account revealed that she is starring in The Legend Of Pontianak, a horror movie which also stars Remy Ishak and Hisyam Hamid.
Her manager Iman Tang shared that Fazura is in talks to star in more Indonesian productions.
However, fans of the popular Gol & Gincu movie which launched Fazura’s career back in 2005 will be disappointed to know that she won’t be back for the planned sequel.
“I won’t be starring in the new Gol & Gincu. Let’s just say we couldn’t meet on some of the terms. I wish the production company Red Films and everyone involved in the Gol & Gincu 2 all the best,” she said.
Is Fazura Pregnant?
Fazura who married actor Fattah Amin, 27, in November also addressed rumours about her pregnancy. The rumours circulated when a fan uploaded a video of Fazura mentioning that she may have “pregnancy cravings” during a holiday in Europe.
“Honestly, it was meant to be a joke. I was in my honeymoon mood. Plus, I usually eat a lot anyway. I was so surprised when my friend forwarded the news to me. I didn’t think that one moment could easily become a story,” she clarified.
But she quickly added: “I don’t know if I’m pregnant or not. But if there is good news, I won’t hide it.”
