Taiwan’s most beautiful aunty, Chen Mei Feng, is in town and she can’t wait to savour Malaysian cuisine. “My favourite dish is bak kut teh. I know there are many types in Malaysia so I am hoping to try the few variations,” Chen said during an interview in Petaling Jaya on Friday (Jan 12).
Chen is known for her svelte figure and youthful looks, which inspired the nickname “Taiwan’s Most Beautiful Obasan” (“obasan” means “auntie” in Japanese).
The 60-year-old hosts A Date With Mei Feng, a popular talk show which is streaming on dimsum, Star Media Group’s video-on-demand subscription service. As a beauty and healthy lifestyle expert, Chen shares her tips on and invites experts to dish out advice on her talk show.
Chen is also looking forward to have her durian fix while in Malaysia.
“Everybody knows I love durian. I am really looking forward to trying the durian in Penang tomorrow,” Chen added.
