Oscar-winning actor Ralph Fiennes has joined the cast of Lego Batman, in which he’ll play Bruce Wayne’s faithful butler.

Fiennes will lend his voice to the role of Alfred Pennyworth, The Hollywood Reporter reveals, in the spinoff of The Lego Movie.

Will Arnett is already set for a starring role in the film, reprising the role of Batman from the first film, while Michael Cera will play his sidekick Robin. Rosario Dawson is to play Batgirl and Zach Galifianakis is reportedly in talks to play the Joker.

Chris McKay is directing the movie, which is due out in 2017.

Fiennes can currently be seen in the latest James Bond movie, Spectre, in which he plays Bond’s boss, M. – AFP Relaxnews
