The feelgood buzz surrounding the Malaysia Day celebrations continues with Pos Malaysia’s latest stamp series called Makanan Kita, which is available in selected Pos Malaysia outlets nationwide.
The stamps feature an array of local food delights from across the country, including air batu campur (ABC), apam balik, nasi lemak, roti canai, mi kolok, hinava, teh tarik, bubur cha-cha, kuih cincin, kuih ketayap, kek lapis, puding kelapa, ais krim gula apong and others.
“Pos Malaysia has carefully selected various local delicacies for this stamp series based on their popularity and public’s recommendations,” says Syed Md Najib Syed Md Noor, Pos Malaysia’s group chief executive.
The public can already get their hands on the complete limited edition Makanan Kita folder set for RM67.40.
The highlight of the series is the Air Batu Campur stamp, where the beloved Malaysian dessert is featured on a miniature sheet.
It shows a bowl of the dessert and a classic shaved ice machine. The Air Batu Campur miniature sheet (RM5) comes with a Spot UV and die-cut features.
