The Argentina Art Festival 2018 (Arfa), the second edition of Arfa travelled to Kuala Lumpur to showcase the many talents of the Argentine art community.
Some of the country’s best hand-picked Argentine contemporary artists recently had their work on display at the National Art Gallery which kicked off with a launch graced by the Director General of the National Art Gallery, Prof Datuk Dr Mohamed Najib Ahmad Dawa and the Ambassador of Argentina to Malaysia, Manuel Jose Balaguer Salas.
The project to introduce Argentine art to the world has now become a cultural exchange event as well as an exhibition with a philanthropic objective.
At the exhibition, some visitors also got the chance to know more about the art of the nation in a workshop conducted by Marcela Temes, where the 10 Argentine artists were present.

At the opening event, Mohamed Najib spoke about his excitement at presenting the dynamic group of artists who are admired by the international community.
“This exhibition shows the uniqueness of Argentina cultures and heritage,” he said. I believe that this exhibition will contribute fruitfully towards not only local artists, but fuel the general public with a sense of passion and appreciation towards the Argentina culture, art and heritage through the Arfa exhibition.”
