Malaysian entrepreneur, founder of the Duck Group and co-founder of Fashion Valet Vivy Yusof, recently launched her beauty brand, Duck Cosmetics.
Her Duck brand currently includes scarves, stationery, home and living products.
It is also the first Malaysian beauty brand setting up shop at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall.
“I’m so honoured and proud that I could present Duck Cosmetics in one of the most prestigious malls in Malaysia. As the first local brand to have a store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, we welcomed over a thousand guests when we opened our doors on September 2,” said Vivy.
“It’s been a dream come true for me. As with all our creations from The Duck Group, we wanted Duck Cosmetics to be different. Just like our scarves, it is so much more than just products – it is a lifestyle!”
“No matter what our personalities, make-up can change anything. Whether to highlight, improve or transform, the magic of cosmetics is endless!” she adds.
The brand is housed in an all white interior on level six that strategically faces the Duck Scarves boutique. The brightly lit store complete with the brand’s signature duck logo is now an added make-up haven for beauty lovers.
The Duck Cosmetics’ debut collection comprises of Vivy’s basic and crucial items in a woman’s daily routine and it has some witty names!
There’s a full range of lip products from the #Lipstickwitu Lipsticks and #GlossGirl Lip Gloss to #MatteDecisions Lip Cream. Then there is the #AllEyeAsk Eyeshadow Palette in two variants of nude and smokey. Finally, there’s a clever foamy #nofilter Makeup Remover with the triple function of removing make-up, cleansing and toning.
Presented in the brand’s signature purple packaging to represent its Basics, each purchase comes with a personal note.
The lip products are priced between RM60 and RM75, the eyeshadow palette at RM135 and the No Filter Make-up Remover, that comes in three variants, at RM100.
Duck Cosmetics ingredients are from the UK and the cosmetics are made in China.
Vivy points out that they are in the midst of getting halal certification for Duck Cosmetics, which is free of parabens and animal testing. A full range of colour cosmetics will be launched within the year.
